Meet Sprite, My Featured Sculpture
For this special show, I'll be showing a little Muertita from a series I call my "Majestics", featuring one of my original characters: Sprite.
She’s a fawn-like spirit being, emerging from a shimmering portal that appears to break through the wall itself. Her antlers and delicate floral adornments frame am impish expression, inviting viewers to admire but be cautious. Her wings peak through as she leans forward. I crafted her using Apoxie Clay and the the portal using resin, crystal and glass.
Her palette includes deep blues, soft light blues, pinks, and copper accents. Hanging on the wall, she’s meant to look like she’s emerging from someplace else, directly into our plane, part creature, part myth, part memory.

$800
You can contact The Hive Gallery directly if you’re interested in purchasing Sprite.
This piece means a lot to me, and I’m excited for it to debut in such a vibrant and artistically rich space.
Why This Show Matters
Being included in The Hive Gallery’s 20-Year Anniversary show is a personal milestone. This space has supported experimental, visionary, and boundary-pushing artists since 2005, and has long been a home for those who create outside the lines.
This group show is a celebration of that legacy, and I’m beyond grateful to share the walls with so many incredible creatives whose work I deeply admire.
What to Expect
The opening night will be buzzing with artists, live music, interactive installations, and tons of visual inspiration. If you love art shows that are full of energy and variety this is the one to see. Bring your friends, meet the artists, and don’t forget to find Sprite and say hello!
