Fantasy Wings Of Watercolor is now Watercolor Wednesdays! Wooo! The series will now launch in February 2026 at Third House in Van Nuys. We decided the new year is the perfect moment for a fresh creative reset, so we’re aligning the class with that energy.

If you’ve been craving a little more creativity in your life, or just a space to slow down, this watercolor class series might be exactly what you need.

Watercolor Wednesdays 2026 is a cozy, in person workshop series.

Perfect for teens and adults to explore watercolor painting through a whimsical, fantasy lens. Beginners and advanced artists are welcome, there’s something for everyone. Taught by award winning multidisciplinary artist Krisztianna, these 1.5 hour sessions offer both gentle instruction and space for personal exploration, all inside the welcoming, community led art space, Third House.

You don’t need any prior painting experience to join, just a willingness to play with color and shape.

All materials are included. You’ll be guided through each project with warmth and support, or allowed to follow your own path as you play with paint.

Each month introduces a new creative project, along with beginner-friendly techniques that build your watercolor skills:

🎨 FEBRUARY
Fantasy Butterflies & Moths

Learn to paint luminous wings with blending, masking, layering, and fine detail techniques.

🧚 MARCH
Fairies with Fantasy Butterfly & Moth Wings

Create your own whimsical fairies! Use templates or learn to draw simple human forms, then layer in watercolor techniques.

🐉 APRIL
Fairy Sky Dragons

Shimmering fantasy dragons with butterfly or moth wings! Templates available to make it accessible to all skill levels.

Classes are designed to be relaxing, and creative, perfect if you’re looking to lower your cortisol levels, tap into your inner artist, or just do something fun and fulfilling on a Wednesday night.

Whether you join for just one month or take the full series, you’ll walk away with new skills, finished artwork, and a little more calm in your week.

Cost:
$45 per class
$120 for a 3 class monthly series
 $300 for all 9 classes (Feb-April)
