Have you ever turned to art to process grief? I have. And recently, I had the chance to talk about it on the Healing Grief podcast with the amazing host Cassandra.
In this episode, I share how art became my way of working through the loss of my parents, since I lost them both in 2020. I talk about them, how they influenced me, and how creating helped me move through grief while finding a way forward. We talked about the deep emotions behind making art, the unexpected ways creativity can help us heal, and how grief isn’t something we “move past” but something we learn to carry.
It was an incredibly personal conversation, and I’m honored to have had the space to share my story. If you’ve ever experienced loss, or if you’ve used art as a way to process emotions, I think you’ll find something meaningful in this episode.
