The subject of this painting is a character in an illustrated novel Krisztianna is working on. Her nickname is Squidface. It seems having tentacles for a face can be a problem for socialization, so she is a bit shy. In the story, Squidface needs to find her voice. Krisztianna wanted to give her a voice by introducing her to all the people who have been so supportive on facebook by sharing links and art, reading posts, and responding with such warmth and encouragement.

The original was sketched onto watercolor paper, inked with india ink and painted with watercolor. The giclée print is on epson enhanced matte, 10.3 mil stock. Signed and numbered with the official artist emboss. Certificate of authenticity. The original has been purchased.
